Love this app, great sounds. However, there’s a strange “feature” with the alarm that throws an alert: “Your alarm is set to go off more than 24 hours in the future” ?? How that is even possible, I don’t know. It prevented my alarm from going off because I didn’t notice the alert — I have no idea why it was even asking me. If my alarm is set for 6am, it should go off at 6am, every day, every time, like every other alarm clock in the universe.

Why does this app need to tell me good morning in the bottom of my multitasking screen even after Ive shut off the sound and killed the app. It wont go away!!!!!!!

I love the app. I used to love it more. I love to fall asleep when Im on the road to the box fan sound. I used to be able to play the sound and a podcast at the same time, now the app doesnt give me that option; only music. Too bad hope they fix and and get 5 stars out of me!

The recorder doesnt record sounds. I would like this app, but it doesnt even work. Five dollars well spent... Fix this ...

Lot of sounds have disappeared and no updates or new sounds in a long time.

This app hasnt been updated forever, but its a lifesaver for parents. To put a baby to sleep, use Ambiance to create the following mix: Start with "Gurgling creek;" set volume at about 50%. Add "Sleep machine" at about 10-15% volume. Thank me later, now get some sleep.

Ive been using this app on and off for at least six years. Maybe seven. It is still and always will be the best ambient noise app out. And its great to experience the muted beauty of iOS 6. I miss skeumorphism.

UPDATE: for nearly a year (actually maybe longer), there have been no new sounds. The library is extensive, but the constant new sounds to download and use was the biggest draw for this app. The devs seem to be absent or abandoned this app. Sad. I have a few of these, like iRelax, Silent Island, Naturespace, Thundergod, and a few others. But this one is so neat because it actually updates all the time with new sounds. Theres always something I like in every new update so my library keeps growing. Keep it up guys. This ones a great one! Update: since the update Ive had to redownload every sound again and they still wont play. And after doing a few things the app crashes and I have to Start over again with everything. Fix please.

Ive probably been using this app for 6 or 7 years now and I still love it. Need to drown out background noise? Check! Want to set a tranquil environment? Check! What about meditative sounds or chants? This has got you covered! Personally, when I cant sleep I like to listen to my favorite rain or other nature sounds, but I mostly use pink noise when I have study on the train.

Not updated since 2012 and I am one star away from giving you guys one star. Please make this a modern looking app with modern day features. Lets try iPhone 6 and 6 Plus resolution support, Touch ID, 3D Touch, and an iOS 7 era design language for starters. Please? Is it too hard for the developers to just look at their product once and a while?

Several months ago and I will check my bank statements I paid the $2.99 so I can have extra sounds. Now I just started using the app again and I had to pay another $2.99. And they wanted a review. So here is the review.
